Spirituality Is Consciousness Work

Consciousness work is using awareness to understand ourselves better and in turn actualise the best possible versions of ourselves. A version of ourselves where we are most truthful, loving, compassionate, honest and beneficial to ourselves and those around us.

 

How Do I Start?

In short, consciousness work includes any type of activities or states of inactivity (such as meditation) that enhances your self awareness. From mindfulness practices to introspective reflections and philosophical contemplation.

Consciousness work and spirituality are essentially synonymous, however some forms of spirituality encompass a very wide range of things, but here the scope of our work is focused but thorough.

A Little About Spirit Odyssey

The name spirit odyssey refers to the fact that this work here is a spiritual journey or adventure. The definition of odyssey is ‘a long and eventful or adventurous journey or experience’ and that is exactly what spirituality is. I also chose the name because odyssey has the letters ‘od’ in it which is similar to the word odd. And spirituality is truly an odd thing. Spirituality goes full circle and becomes ‘ordinary’ reality, the distinction between what is spiritual and what is ordinary crumbles away.

The journey you started never really happened as you were always what you were looking for, but at the same time the journey is unforgettable and truly meaningful. Hence why the logo for Spirit Odyssey Is a circle that fades away. A journey that goes so full circle that it essentially never happened.
